Compliance under STPI

India has already earned its reputation as an IT  superpower and is set to become the world’s largest exporter of  software in the years to come. Software Technology Parks of India  (STPI), is a society set up by the Ministry of Information Technology,  Government of India in 1991, with the objective of encouraging,  promoting and boosting the Software Exports from India.

Entities engaged in the development and export  of software may obtain registration under the Software Technology Parks  of India so as to be entitled to the many benefits conferred by the STPI  on its members through the various schemes formulated therein. Further,  members of the STPI are to furnish periodic reports to the STPI  authorities.

Compliance under DGFT

The Directorate General of foreign Trade (DGFT)  is the agency of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government  of India, responsible for execution of the import and export Policies  of India.  The DGFT is thus a regulatory authority that monitors foreign  trade in India.

Entities in India which would engage in foreign  trade are required to obtain the Import Export Code(IEC) by making an  application to the DGFT. Further, such entities are to adhere to the  foreign trade policies and procedures as may be prescribed by the DGFT.  We offer compliance management services in this regard.
